Doing business with Smithco Mechanical was the best experience my husband and I have had with any contractor we have dealt with in the past (and we have had a few)!!!! Matt and his crew are very professional and honest!! Matt seems to truly care about his customers experience and I have to say he made the entire process as pain free as possible!! When you are making this large of a purchase for your home it is nice to know that you are dealing with a company that is going to do the job right and truly cares about the customer!! He was great at explaining the things that we needed to do and it all made sense. Matt even came to our home and added Freon to our A/C unit on the hottest day of the year which happened to be on a Saturday to get us by until our new furnace and ac came in which was the following Tuesday. This is a company that takes pride in their work and I would recommend this company to anyone that wants the job done right!!
Matt is very nice, punctual, and not in a hurry to "get away" he answered all my questions and then some. He is intelligent and an excellent teacher. He explained things in ways, even I could understand, and he made logical sense. I learned more from him in the time he was here than I have in 10 years working closely with SS&B. After he tweaked our system (AC) we have been waiting for a warm day to use it to see if it makes a difference. In the meantime he is doing some research on some products that we asked him about AND using his expertise to come up with a plan should the tweaking not work out. All of this at no cost. I would recommend SmithCo Mechanical, Matt Smith, to anyone who wants the job done right the first time.
Matt and his crew were excellent!! We had 3 different quotes; he was very knowledgeable and helpful even before we decided to go with his company. He was on time, if not early, every meeting we had. He never seemed like he was in a hurry and always took the time to answer any questions. Both of our units are working great and we could not be happier with our service. Will definitely use them again if the need arises.
MATT MADE THIS A PLEASANT TRANSACTION WOULD USE HIM AGAIN.
Very friendly and affordable and was able to fix the problem in same day.
Working with Matt was a very different experience than we previously had with other Air Conditioning contractors we’ve used in the past. Matt was willing to walk through the house sit down, explain our options and actually show us some improvements needed to make whatever system we chose to operate at it's absolute best. When he ran the numbers he also found the system we had been using before wasn't even the right size for our house. These are things none of the other contractors had even bothered to look at much less tell us we would be able to change. He was NOT the cheapest but he was THE ONLY one that had our best interest in mind. All that said I would highly recommend Smithco Mechanical to anyone looking for the same experience... he is "our guy" when it comes to Heat and Air. You really should consider making him yours as well.
My dad, Donald, was a vet and had a practice in Yorkshire. Cats and dogs were his bread and butter, but his greatest love was large animals.
When I was younger, I wanted to be a vet or a tightrope walker. But I have no sense of balance, and I can't bear animals dying, so I abandoned both ideas.
When I was a child I wanted to be a vet. I'd come home with "lost" kittens and dogs. My mother would tell me to put them back.
